Restaurant Wong Ah Wah in Jalan Alor

Restoran WAW is also famously known as Restaurant Wong Ah Wah or Wong Ah Wah Chicken Wings. It attained the name because chicken wings is, without a doubt, the restaurant's best selling food item. Serving mainly Chinese cuisine, both rice and noodle dishes, the restaurant made it big with their grilled chicken wings. The well-marinated chicken wings are skewered and then grilled. When you bite into it, its succulent meat is tender, juicy, and fragrant. There is also a delicious hint of honey on the chicken wings.

Aside from the delicious chicken wings, a wonderful complement to it would be the Singapore Fried Mee Hoon, Fried Rice, Loh Mee, and Kam Heong Fried La La. In actual fact, just about any dish from this restaurant is well-done and deserves special mention. However, this is not your fine dining restaurant so do not expect full-marks for cleanliness or ambience. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent, and that to me is a very good reason to visit Restaurant WAW.
