Taken from the very cool aviary in Hong Kong Park, a fave spot for avians & those who wish they were.
Over Chinese New Year, most Hong Kongers celebrate the holidays with their families outside of the city (or just lie low nursing hangovers and playing mah-jongg,) making much of the city eerily desolate. But in the Central District, the 200,000+ Philippinas who work as domestics have run of the town. And with no bosses around, and no chores to be done, they aim to enjoy their time to the fullest.
Somewhere between Central and Sheung Wan; In my mind, the whole architectural structure of Hong Kong is a domino field precariously arranged on mountain slopes.

A story told with photos.
